By Chileshe Mwango
The matter in which 9 Patriotic Front -PF- Members of Parliament are seeking leave to challenge Speaker Of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti’s decision to ban them from attending parliament sittings has been adjourned to Wednesday.
The matter involving the 9 who include Kabushi Member of Parliament Bowman Lusambo and former Foreign Affairs Minister Joe Malanji was held in court chambers this morning.
And addressing supporters at the high court grounds, PF Vice president Given Lubinda said the former ruling party will give the court time to decide on the matter but that the final judges are the citizens.
Mr. Lubinda says Zambians are watching the destruction being caused to Zambia’s democracy by the upnd and will not allow it.
And PF Chairperson for Information and Publicity Raphael Nakacinda has alleged that President Hakainde Hichilema has started inviting judges to his residence with a view to influence the court outcomes on cases involving election petitions.
