The African Union Holdings Chairman JAMES NDAMBO has pledged to repair the Choma hospital dilapidated road which is connecting to the Lusaka/Livingstone main road.
His remarks follows a plea by Choma Central Constituency member of Parliament CORNELIUS MWEETWA who earlier today asked Mr. NDAMBO to consider rehabilitating and constructing a tarred road leading to Choma general hospital.
In his response, Mr. NDAMBO says he will fund the project as it is his will to ploughing back to the community.
Mr. NDAMBO also made the pronouncement of constructing a maternity wing at Choma Central Police Station, a move which will help not only women in uniform, but also various members of the community.
And according to the Southern Province Police Commanding officer ALFRED NAWA, Mr. NDAMBO also pledged to buy brand new Seven (7) 4×4 vehicles, two (2) new Marcopolo buses and three (3) ambulances for Police operations in a bid to easy the transport burden as other services provided.
Mr. NDAMBO assured Choma Central Parliamentarian Mr. MWEETWA that these donations in form of pledges will arrive in June this year.
And Mr. MWEETWA commended the African Union Holdings for a positive response in a twinkling of an eye to his plea rendered on behalf of Choma Central Constituents.
The two were speaking during the commissioning of Choma Central Police Station, a Project being refurbished by My Home Town Organization through the Africa Union Holdings, which is the main funder.
